Please read: ignorant comments about the size of the tank is responsible for the growth of fish will be deleted! We no longer have this Pleco! On Saturday, 09/06/08 sold our Pleco for 20 dollars. He now enjoys shows a pond in front of a boat shop in San Diego. We bought a 2 cm and was 8 years old when we sold. The tank was only 55 gallons, but the combination of steamed broccoli and fed through the filter of the tank (3 Reims) let it grow and grow! ******** Q: How does what youFilter size affect? A: The cleaner the water to grow it bigger. The growth hormones is the sense that the fish in open water and begin to grow. Once the water is dirty, closed growth hormones. This is a process of survival, in which a fish passes stray from the main part of the water or river. This happens even when there is drought and low flow. FYI: The # 1 cause of death for Plecos hungry. People think that can only survive Plecos algae on the glass. This is wrong.
